In Towne Marina Closing for the Season after Sunday, March 4th

Our bait shop and main access will be closed for the season after Sunday, March 4th. We will keep an alternate access lane open (where we launch boats in the summer) for a limited time depending on ice and snow conditions (Drive at your own risk).  Also, after Sunday, March 4th we will not be plowing any more lake roads. We appreciate those of you that joined us for a great winter on Lake Waconia. It sure was nice to have good ice all season and good fishing action too!

Don’t forget to get your 2018 fishing license before heading out for spring ice fishing! Also, fish houses must be removed from lakes on Monday, March 5th. With a forecast with temps in the upper 40’s this weekend, with rain/snow coming Sunday into Monday, we recommend getting ahead of the weather by removing your fish house early if possible. Ice on the main lake is currently in great shape. With the warmth melting the snow and potential rain, we expect a lot of water, especially in plowed roads. Our access currently is still in good shape as well, but we expect it to worsen this weekend.

Thanks again!  The Mase’s and Staff
